Topaz AI is a very good product for most users, but if you are producing gigapan type projects you probably need to buy or use On1. And their tech support does not respond to this issue. While this frame is designed to display paintings, it’s also great for uploading your own images as well, whether that’s a high-quality family portrait or even your own artwork. Jumping up in price considerably from everything else on this list, the Canvas II from Meural is a massive frame (21 inches) that displays your photos at a crisp 1920 x 1080 resolution on its LCD screen. However, one thing you must be aware of with this frame is it does not support video clips of any kind-a major letdown considering the price. The nicely styled exterior also elevates it above other options, looking more in line with a normal picture frame. While there may not be any in-depth features on display here, the excellent execution of what is here makes the Mason frame worth considering. The 1600 x 1200 display looks great and you can orient the frame in either vertical or horizontal formats. You can invite other users to upload photos to your frame, use the virtual remote inside the app to manage the frame, and you can preload a frame with photos if you want to gift it to someone. While the frame lacks internal storage, it comes with unlimited cloud storage for you to upload photos to through the Aura app ( Android/ iOS)-which in it itself, is designed to be as easy to use as possible. ![]() When it comes to simplicity, no one beats out Aura’s Mason frame. Management Methods: Once your photos are in the frame, you’re going to need some options when it comes to managing what photos appear, how long they appear, and maybe even what transition occurs when photos change. When it comes to Wi-Fi options, most frames work through their own app to get photos from your phone to the frame, but some can pull images from cloud-storage services like Google Photos, along with social media sites. When it comes to internal storage, some frames have ports and slots for USB thumb drives and SD cards, which can both be used to transfer files and expand the internal memory. There’s also the matter of actually getting your photos onto the frame. However, some of them also (or exclusively) feature cloud storage, which allows for more photos but at the cost of requiring an internet connection. In fact, Aerion predicts it may have a supersonic aircraft in service by 2020.Īs experimental military aircraft continue to break speed records, it begs the question: just how fast can man travel? Officially, the world speed record for a manned aircraft is Mach 6.72-4,535 miles an hour. NASA is working on finding a way to overcome the sound of the sonic boom that prevents supersonic flights over land, and Boeing, Lockheed Martin and Aerion are all working on supersonic technology. Plans for supersonic passenger air travel are still in the works, however. When an Air France Concorde crashed in 2000 killing all 100 passengers and 9 crew members on board, that seemed to seal its fate. However, with high operating costs and low passenger numbers, it didn't quite meet expectations. ![]() It traveled at twice the speed of sound, cutting in half the time it took to fly from New York to London to about three and a half hours. For example, at 30,000 feet, the mach speed will be just under 1000 feet per second, but at sea level, it is closer to 1100 feet per second.Īs the perils of supersonic flight became manageable, it was assumed that it would be the next logical step for passenger air travel. As altitude increases, the velocity needed to achieve the speed of sound decreases. The Mach number is the ratio of the speed of an object to the speed of sound, and is a relative number depending on atmospheric conditions. Mach later invented high speed photographic techniques to better capture the phenomenon. Mach was able to photograph the shock waves using schlieren photography (invented by German physicist August Toepler in 1864), which captured the shadows of the waves. He realized that when a bullet or shell moved faster than the speed of sound, the air in front of it was compressed, causing crater-type wounds as well as a second distinct "boom" that was separate from the explosion. The speed of sound is named for Ernst Mach (1838 - 1916), an Austrian physicist who studied supersonic motion, primarily in the form of ballistic shock waves. After Yaeger's plane, which he named "Glamorous Glennis" after his wife, was dropped from the bay of a B-29 bomber, Yaeger achieved Mach 1.06-700 miles per hour-at 43,000 feet. While there are claims that the sound barrier was first broken during World War II in the Messerschmitt Me 262, such claims are considered unofficial. In a nod to a new era of technology, whereas Yeager's accomplishment was witnessed by only a few, Baumgartner's feat was viewed in real time by millions via YouTube and other live streaming services. Interestingly, Baumgartner's jump, which was delayed twice, was evenutally performed on October 14th, 65 years to the day after Yeager broke the sound barrier over the Mojave Desert. Those a bit younger may remember seeing Yeager's feats chronicled in the 1983 movie "The Right Stuff" (based on Tom Wolfe's book), about the Mercury 7 astronauts in the early days of manned space flight. Those old enough to remember might reminisce about Chuck Yeager, the famous test pilot who first broke the sound barrier in an experimental Bell X-1 jet in 1947. During his four-minute 19-second freefall, Baumgartner reached speeds of 833 miles per hour-Mach 1.24-breaking the sound barrier, the first time a human has done so without being strapped into a vehicle of some kind. One of the most iconic images of a plane reaching the sound barrier, this is an F/A-18 Hornet assigned to Strike Fighter Squadron One Five One (VFA-151) breaking the sound barrier in the skies over the Pacific Ocean on J(Image: US Navy, taken by Ensign John Gay, photo officer for Fighter Squadron Two)Īnyone who watched Austrian skydiver Felix Baumgartner's amazing 24-mile descent from the stratosphere to a perfect upright parachute landing in the New Mexico desert knows they were witnessing history in the making. 5/10/2023 0 Comments Animate.css appbox![]() It seems you can't use the android studio client to disconnect your app project from your Firebase project. ![]() I manually configured it but I wanna know if there is a way to do disconnect and reconnect it. Real estate investors also use NOI to determine the capitalization rate, which gives the property investor an estimated return on investment (ROI) of the real estate investment.Ĭapitalization rates ( cap rates) = NOI / the purchase price.Īs a property owner or manager, a positive NOI is your pathway to getting loans approved or attracting investors or even new buyers. ![]() Real estate NOI is one of the most important factors for both purchasing a property and developing its budget. Property taxes for real estate buildings are for the cost of land and anything permanently affixed to the land. Income tax is deducted from the property’s gross income in a fiscal year. NOI is calculated before income tax deductions, but it does include property taxes. Also, factors like rental income and maintenance costs can fluctuate throughout the fiscal year. It’s important to note that your building’s NOI will vary from the example above and will depend on how your property operates. Since NOI is usually calculated annually, simply multiply $28,000 by 12 to get the annual NOI of $336,000. Imagine the information below is the monthly revenue and expenses of a multifamily property. To help apply the formula in real life, let’s go over an example. Net Operating Income = RR - OE, where RR is real estate revenue, and OE is operating expenses.

Importing a GPX file as a course in Garmin Connect The course should open in Garmin Connect, and you can skip to the section on syncing the device.
